I think you've summed it up regarding Cloud computing with startups. If you can't take it with you, then don't even bother. I actually considered paying the ransom money, but after reading your thoughts, and considering that it is not beyond Sprout to once again pull the plug if their investors & board so decide - there's no way I'll put my neck out like this again!!!
