Area automotive media decision makers from Ford (Scott M. Kelley, Digital Marketing Manager), Kelley Blue Book (Robin Cooper, Vice President, Advertising and Business Development), Yahoo! (Jennifer Dulski, General Manager, Yahoo! Autos), Autotrader (Chip Perry, CEO, Autotrader.com), and Jumpstart Automotive (Mitch Lowe, CEO, Jumpstart Automotive) were part of a panel on August 17th at the Baldwin Theatre in Royal Oak, moderated by Dennis Galbraith, the Senior Director of Marketing for J.D. Power & Associates. The focus of the panel was how to balance the needs of publishers and shoppers in the automotive online space.

“The event was a great success for the Detroit digital marketplace,” said Joe Kyriakoza, president of 313digital. “We were pleased with the content and the panelists exhibited their leadership in the online automotive arena.”

The event was put together by 313digital, Metro Detroit’s Premier Digital Organization that champions and aggressively leads the charge to further the development, education, and recognition of digital media as part of the marketing mix. 313digital also creates a communal source for those involved or interested in areas of digital media and marketing.

Complete digital production of the event was handled by podcasting and online media creation experts Portage Media Solutions, who have been podcasting events professionally for over a year for a variety of organizations. They have made the event available in either click-to-watch on the media page, as a download for your iPod or Video iPod, Audio-only mp3, or Windows Media.

As an added bonus, you can subscribe for free to the 313digital podcast channel on the media center page through iTunes (or a podcast receiver of your choice) to get previous and future content produced by the organization automatically delivered to you when it becomes available.
